Exclamation Updated 7100i.. missing web browser

Please Login to Remove!

I updated my 7100i and everything appears to be working properly. The only problem is, I dont see the web browser link or the link to my email. I haven't received any text messages but I am able to receive emails and the registration messages through the message center. I'm not pressed on having an icon for my emails BUT I would like to be able to access the web.

I emailed myself a link, it wont let me open it. There isn't even a "get link" option. I re-registered the phone three times, pulled the battery and held the power button down for a minute... NOTHING. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this???

If that fails, try to registar the phone again. I have a 8703 sprint now, so i might be wrong since its been awhile from using the 7100i.

I was on the phone with blackberry support, the first guy was lazy and said "oh there's an outage... just wait it out". I called right back and spoke with another guy, we did a hard reset AGAIN and he had me delete all of my service books and tried to resend them. No luck, he said wait it out and call back in a few days. -shrug- Atleast the second guy attempted to troubleshoot!!

It's working now. The Nextel rep had me do a few things and I'm good to go.

I really don't remember what they had me do. I know we somehow restarted the "radio" portion but I don't remember what else. It took me 4 techs before I got it working. Three guys couldn't help. It was a girl that got it working.

The security books all check out, everything is checked... everything seems normal. I get my emails (delayed) but I get them none the less. I'm not getting texts and I dont have a web browser :( If I email myself a link, nothing... this stinks. I'll have some time to trouble shoot tonight.. hopefully SOMETHING is fixed.

I would wipe the device with javaloader and reinstall software if it was me.
