Default Accidentally Activated VZ Navigator in my pocket

Please Login to Remove!

i had my storm in my pocket and must have forgotten to lock it, and VZ navigator was open on the home screen.

am I going to get charged $10 a month from verizon now?

I need to use it for a vacation next week, but I don't really know how the pricing works or if its included with the blackberry plan

You need to specifically order this feature before it will work on your device. It's my understanding you cannot activate it by accident. Best to call Verizon Wireless to be sure. You should get one month free before being changed anyways.

No, it's not part of the $30 BB plan. It is $9.99/mo or $2.99/24 hours. Be sure to call Verizon before the 30 days is up if you only want it for vacation, because the charge continues each month until you cancel it. I found out the hard way and had to fight to get 2 months worth of fees credited, as there was no mention during ordering that it would go on month after month. Eventually, I got back $20 for the extra 2 months (I didn't know it was still active, nor did I access the program during those 2 months)

My own experience of these things suggests to me you are better canceling it right away! I had a similar thing with vodafone germany where I didn't read the small print and found myself paying for a car navigation module - I dont have car ....
