Question Help how to change browser ??

Hello everyone,

i have 8350i bb...im in peru, south america ..i was ganna get this sim card were i have internet but once is was on the bb i went to the browser i turn off the wifi , the mobile network was on, but it just didnt work at all it said this is a Wi-fi service. please ensure your device has an active wi-fi connection and try agian.. i was trying to change the browser but i only have one option which is hotspot browser. any one know how to add a browser so that i dont use the wi-fi system thanks for the help.

Sounds like you may not have a Blackberry Data Plan. You need one of those to be able to use the default browser over the Data connection. If you do have a Data plan, then try re-sending yourself your service books.

yes i do not have a blackberry data plan, but the thing is that this sim card has internet not the data plan just internet were you can put it on a cell and you have internet. i even try on another cell not BB and the the internet work...for me to have this sim card to work on my bb i have to have another browers ..

You have a generic data plan, not the BlackBerry specific one. Without the specific one you won't be able to use the BlackBerry browser if you are not on wifi.

You can get a third party one like Opera Mini or Bolt browser.
