Hey all,

I have 2 phone numbers, one with a 8703e and one with Samsung u740. I basically just want to swap the 2 phones. Does anybody of any known problems that could affect the BB or its function when switching the #'s? Do I have to do anything so that the email will still work or will changing numbers not affect the BIS?

Have you called vzw data tech support and asked them?

I have swapped bb around but using bes not bis and had no problems.

Evan, there should not be a problem. I say "should not" because there could always be a glitch. Your email setup is attached to the PIN#.

Just need to add the BB dataplan to the new BB number and delete it from the old, and ave it reprovisioned. PIN and IMEI on BIS shouldn't change.

This is the important bit. BES and BIS don't care what your phone number is...
