8520 is just right for me I had a Bold but now I have my Curve; probably should sell my Bold instead of letting it sit in my room idle lol

I think the 9700 is the best, too, but it's subjective to some degree. Go into a store and handle the devices. Go to blackberry.com or t-mobile website and compare the spec's. And then there's your budget for what you want to spend to buy the device.

The best is in the eye and hand of the user, and would be the one that best fits your needs and wants. What is best for one person might be total opposite for you.
If you are looking for advice, please explain what you need and how you plan to use it.

The bold has better specs, but the keypad is a bit more cramped. You really need to go to the store and handle both of them to make the correct decision.

Which Bold did you replace, the 9000 or the 9700? I can see moving to the 8520 from the original 9000 for the trackpad alone. The 8520 is also smaller, a prime concern for you delicate female types.

It's doubtful that the 8520 will be able to run OS 6 when it comes out. The 9700 *should*.

Get the 9700. Even though TMO does not have the best data network, or have very good 3G coverage, but who is to know what they are going to do in the next couple years. The 8520 is a decent blackberry, but it is still a curve. They lack the memory, and screen resolution that the 9700 does have. I dont know too much about the GSM blackberries, but i believe the processor may be a little weaker in the curve.
