Hi there,
I have the 9700 BOLD and I've had it for about a year now. The past few days, i've been experiencing erratic mouse syndrome. My mouse on my blackberry is going crazy. It's soooo sensitive to touch.

I've already gone to options to decrease the vertical and horizontal senstivity to 20 and it didn't work. my mouse is seriously driving me crazy and making it really really difficult to use my blackberry.

I'm just short of throwing my BB at the wall.....

any coaching or guidance is greatly appreciated

Flakey keypad and button issues are usually the result of moisture issues. And it doesn't take much. Sweaty pocket, humid shower room... If that's a possibility, take the battery out ASAP and go read blackberryfaq.com article on what to do after that.

I checked out the battery and blackberry indicator sticker and they are both white, so at least i know it's not wet. I'm going to take out the batter for a day or two to see what happens.

I have no say re the tags...

It could still be moisture even if the indicators don't show anything.

It could be the trackpad. I don't really have experience with a trackpad failing. But make sure it isn't moisture.
