Hey michaelalanjones, not sure if you've seen my article on the 5.0.0.238, - My Report On The BlackBerry Bold OS 5.0 « Kirrin Jones - if not could you check it out and see if there are any difference? I've decided not to bother doing another upgrade until the official release, as the .238 runs really great and I'm getting excellent performance from my device. But I'm just curious.

Thanks

Ya .238 runs amazingly, Im coming from 4.6 so the threaded SMS was great too. Overall cleaner UI and runs faster. Also, Ive found with earlier os's I only ever got up to 36MB of free memory after a reeboot. Now on .238 its at 48 MB after reeboot, saaaweeeeet!

The greatest thing I found was the improved Bluetooth voice command. I had no love with the earlier betas. There is a rebooting issue. Hopefully you can avoid that. It is giving me grief. Otherwise, the best OS yet.

You can check the end of my article for a link to the 5.0.0.238 download. I do not have a working link for the .314 and I don't know of one now.

I have been using .314 for several days now and I must say that the overall performance of my 9000 is much more responsive. I have not come across any errors since using the new OS and all my current applications work fine. The threaded SMS and newer version of BBM are a much welcome change to my overall user experience.

I also like the .314 but I seem to be experiencing a small battery drain. I have had many different OS's on my bold and never a battery leak. Any suggestions. There are days when I think I may have to recharge in the middle of the day....Any suggestions at this point would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

i switched from 4.6.xxx to the 5.0.0.238 yesterday , and now my advanced bluetooth options(skip forward/backward, play/pause, etc.) no longer work with my motorokr s9HD headphones . it also doesn't seem to run regular webpages on wifi , but pandora does.

i'm going back to 4.6 simply because of this ..

am i the only one having these probs ?
