Its the people that want the features a data plan brings, without having the data plan that annoys what 90% of us?

And therein lies the root of all the animosity.
Why are you annoyed? Why do you even care? It's not affecting you in ANY way.

The annoying portion of it arises from the posts here from (some) users almost demanding the features. As an active user in the Forums, I can ignore them or try to edumacate them. Yes, it does get annoying at times. Some users are understanding of the limitations, and are a pleasure to assist.

Otherwise, to each their own. But would the "no-data" people PLEASE get to the rear of the bus and leave us others up front to enjoy the view?

But why would it bother anyone? Sure a "poser" argument is certainly valid; there are those that want to look the part and talk the talk without fully committing to the device's capabilities. I get that frustration, and I'm not entirely sure that I disagree with that argument. But ultimately, it's no big shake. The way I see it is this: those who buy the blackberry are marketing the product. They help the bottom line of RIM which is good for all of us. There are millions of people to sell these devices to, and not all of them are going to want a data plan. It's important that the blackberries have a fair shot at obtain their business too.

This thread is seriously going in circles. I do believe it's high time someone mentions Hitler so we can invoke Godwin's Law and be done with it.

Oh wait, i just did.

And so it is...as would be done with a wounded animal--put out of it's misery.
