I ordered one in July from Expansys. Then RIM got pissed at them for releasing the pods, and they had to put the order on hold. But they just released it for shipment and I received it yesterday. The BOLD charging pod is very nice. Great build quality, non-skid, base, and decent weight to it. Now I just need the darn BOLD to go in it.

Does the light change colors to indicate chargins status? Or is it always white? I can't test, since I don't have a BOLD yet. Just this pod

A. Convenience, just drop it in to charge it
B. Keeps phone in an orientation where you can easily read the screen when it is on your desk.
C. Just plain looks cool!

I picked one up from ebay yesterday from a seller in California so we'll see how quickly I receive it.
I can't get over why they don't have accessories ready to go when the device comes out. I remember getting a 1st gen iPhone and, while going to purchase, passing right by a wall of accessories that everyone was hording. People want to buy stuff for their phones when they get them.
