Not a big holster fan either, but I am a klutz and I kept dropping it...so I broke down and use the holster...that and I keep almost running it throught the washing machine.

Do you want to be seen wearing a holster that big? I really like my BB but I don't want anyone that might be interested in stealing mine to see it. How sweaty is anyone that it frags their BB. Buy the insurance, lock the screen, put it in your pocket and forget it. I even keep it in my pocket @ the gym with no negative affects.

This will be my first Blackberry purchase. I don’t use cell phone cameras and SureType frustrates me. Thus the 8100 off my list and the 8300 I am indifferent on. However, I have just always despised holsters so the pocketability of a device is very important in my book.

Thanks,

Jesse

Physically, the 8300 is noticeably small than it's 8800 cousin. I carry my 8830 in either my shirt pocket or front trouser pocket. Been doing it a long time and never had any problems.*

*Sweat volume and pocket lint vary by user and environment. Any user can meet and/or exceed sweat and lint levels. User putting Blackberry in pocket assumes all responsibility for sweat, lint, and anything else that may occur from pocketing device.
