I have AT&T, it works fine. I would NOT recommend using the @carrier.blackberry.net address, though, as it is very spam-prone.

Get a gmail account or something and setup your BlackBerry properly.

I use a gmail account for work and a att account for home so your saying I shouldn't use the blackberry.net address ? How does it get spam on it?

What do you mean by setting up gmail/blackberry properly?

use your BIS account from AT&T to send your gmail directly to the BB. like this:
How to add / delete email addresses - BlackBerryFAQ.com

The spam bots or whatever can very easily create email addresses on those blackberry.net addresses, simply by going through any alpha-numeric combinations... smith@, jsmith@, ksmith@, etc., and on and on.

I know I have never registered my TMo.blackberry.net address anywhere and I was getting several dozens spams a day, a year ago, until I dropped it.

Register another Gmail account for your personal email, plus if you ever change cell carriers, you aren't stuck telling everyone a new address.

It gets SPAM the same way any other email account gets SPAM. Unlike Gmail or Yahoo the carrier account to not have SPAM filtering.

I was just going to setup my att to go direct to the BB as the gmail work account I have forwarded to my att so I don't miss somthing over the weekends. If I have the gmail forward to the att then I am going to get duplicates aren't I ?

I guess I could create a 2nd gmail and have the att forward to it then have that send to the bb would that work is that what you guys are saying?

1st email account me@gmail .com = bb
2nd email account [email address] sent to [email address] = bb

then if i get a message to the [email address] and I hit reply what shows up to the end users [email address] or [email address]?
