I have been battling with a strange glitch with my Pearl. I am on Exchange My Mail BES and BIS. After spending many hours with EMM tech support and upgrading to their new hosted exchange I was still experiencing the following issue.

I would send an email out to a recipient in my address book and that person would reply back to me. I would then try to reply back to them and I would get an "Undeliverable" error message. It seems that if you have your font size to large the Pearl adds some type of space or character back into the email address of the sender when you are replying. I was using Millibank 9pt Bold and had to drop down to 8pt. After I made the font size change, no more problems. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? What's strange is I was only getting the error meassage with my BES account.

Wow that is really odd. I'm not even sure where to begin trying to decipher what was going on there though. Glad you got it fixed though, I would have been going insane and never would have guessed to change the font size.

those are my exact settings with 9 bold and I did not experience that at all and that is with about 5 round trip replies.

Are you on BES or BIS?

After posting above and re-reading, I called my friened who is on BES (and who those replies where happening with), I asked him to tell me his settings and he has the same (I set up his BB as he liked what I have) and he said he had no prblems.

I don't know how to explain it. Maybe the email address itself was too long. It did not fit on one line and had to be carried over to the next line but I can duplicate this error every time so I know it is a font issue. What I don't know is why. Is it my BES or something else? Have you friend try to reply to someone with a lengthy email address. Mine was 27 characters and the "m" from .com was carried over to the next line.

I wil ask him and hopefully he will ahve a long name that he can try this out with. It would be good to know for him just in case. One question, when you compose a new email to that contact does it go through fine or not?

I am able to initially compose the emails with no problems.
