Default 7100g Case

Please Login to Remove!

Just bought and received one of these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...758342145&rd=1

(linked to a closed auction on purpose...I have nothing to do with the seller other than being a paying customer)

and I thought i'd let you all know that it is a very nice case. Probably one of the best options i've found for the 7100g until RIM starts shippng the new cases from their web store. My only complaint is that you cannot remove the belt clip. However, having the attached clip makes the case thinner than one with a detachable clip. The clip does rotate as well. Sleep mode also works fine.

Now if I could just find a bluetooth headset that charges via mini-usb....

Hi Throne,
Is the rotation like the stock BB holster where it kind of 'ratchets' so that it will stay on one selected position?

Thanks,
Dave

Default This one is the best

I just got the one mentioned at the top off eBay a couple weeks ago as well.
I had a Sena on my 7100t before that and this one is much better.
Love the sleep built in and the belt clip adds no bulkiness to it at all.

If you have a 71xx series, this is the one.

The following is also really nice: http://www.pielframa.com/blackberry_7100v.htm states 7100x/7100v but it should fit the 7100g as well...

Yes it ratchets.

It does not cover the usb and headset connectors.

Wish I could get another identical one that wasn't leather for those casual days...but i'm very happy with it.

i just bought this case but, but dont really like it.

if you slide the phone in the proper way, the magnet sticks out so far on the inside that it scrapes along the keypad pressing keys before its in far enough that the magnet forces the screen off.

Since I like to wear it horizontally with the flap to the front, I slidemy 7100 in upside down so that the LED is now visible when I look down at the unit. This also places the screen on the inside offering an even greater level of protection.
