If it don't say Sandisk or Kingston, I would steer clear. Plus I don't think 4gb is supported yet.

Agreed. And even it were a *good* card, it wouldn't work in the Pearl.

guys, 4gb cards will not work, software on the pearl at present will not support these cards... already spoke with RIM techies about it... and they confirmed 4gb is no go.

Does anyone know if new software to support higher capacity cards will become available as the cards do?

Thanks alot!!! Looks like a sweet deal. I know its not supported by the pearl now but it might be in the near future> And even it was never supported by the pearl u never no when a 4gb micro might come in handy ie future bb phones. When the the 2gb cards first came out they were priced at 175 and up. This is a small risk to pay for the possible pay off.

Somehow I doubt that the price for it will actually be that low.....be a cautious buyer!

i purchased it. i let people know how it works out. i Have a camera that will take this and hopefully soon the pearl will be a able to use it!!
