i brought a faulty 8520 yesterday, the screen back light dont work i can just see what's on the screen at night but not in the day, will i be able to fix this by buying a new screen and also when i plug it in to charge via laptop the led light flashes orange is this normal please help

You need to be patient. You only waited 32 minutes. We are all volunteers here.

IMHO, I would return it and get your money back, especially if you didn't know it was broken to begin with.

Do you know how it got damaged in the first place - dropped, water, etc.? Too many things could be wrong

ok sorry, i think its from water damage as the square in the back in red

In which case you will likely NOT be able to repair it.
You could try putting it in a bag of rice for 4-5 days, but likely the damage is done.

Hope you didn't pay too much.
