Default BB as modem on international mail

Please Login to Remove!

Have signed up for Tmo's international mail, and receiving mail fine out of country.

As I use my 8100 as a modem, when surfing the net, am I being charged separately as a voice call, or is the service already included in the international mail data portion of plan, thus no extra charges?

Using the pearl as a modem while roaming internationally would not be covered under "international email.". If you see doing that internationally you see going to get hit with a staggering bill for international data roaming.

Unlimited International e-mail roaming for BlackBerry e-mail service
NOTE: Web browsing is not included. Applicable charges apply for all Web browsing.

If a customer wants domestic unlimited e-mail, they must have another SOC, such as BWCS.

He's right. You better call us and check on your bill before doing any more international data.

With some plans you can add PAM international for an added charge. With Sprint it is an extra $15/month.

Thanks for the tips. Figured it's too good to be true if data services can be free.
