Hello,

I have a user with a new BB 8130 and for some reason they don't have the option to "add an existing email account". They have the option to add a BES email account but the other option does not show up in the Email Setup?

OS Version 5.0.77

I did a search and came up empty...anyone else have this issue? Suggestions?

OS Version 5 is a beta. Suggest they downgrade to a supported version then try again.

I am am going to assume the user meant 4.5.0.77.

Do you have a data plan?

I fixed the issue. I went to options > advanced options > host routing table ...hit the menu key and selected register now. The user was than asked if the pin changed. Selected yes. Pulled the battery (hard reboot) and the option to add an existing email account was there.

you could also go to www.blackbery.com/go/vzw and register if you are not already registerd and send your service books. but firs go into your options - advanced options- service books and delete your current service books.
