Question How to resize the Image as Device Specific Width and Height

Hi,

I have Made 1 Bitmap image which is used to display based on its width and height...
but the i want to display the image as per the Device Width and Height ..
so how should i resize it as per the device specific from the original image?

As i m stucked over here ....
pls provide any code snippet or any link or any solution .....

do you know the device screen width and height?
bitmap made in paint on microsoft OS?

open the image, go to resize the area of the "canvas" and look in the bottom right corner, it gives the widthxheight pixel size.
move until these numbers match the pixel width/height of your screen.

Prepare a custom bitmap for each screen resolution may be an option.

I described how to resize a bitmap on the blackberry a while back: Resizing a Bitmap on the Blackberry | Coderholic

You can get the screen size with Display.getWidth/Height()
