I'm curious about this too, I was looking at the XM player for the 8800. How would it work on EDGE?

Try out AccuRadio -- The Next Generation of Radio or US Radio Stations - The Stream Center - Searchable list of America's streaming radio stations.

They both offer streaming music to test out.

I have tried out RadioBee I think it was also..and it worked fine from what I can recall. For some reason, it didn't catch on with me so I never played with it again.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

How user-friendly is dollars's program? I noticed radiobee needed very special codes to get the audio to work.

Link? I stream XM via my EVDO connection on my computer and it work fine. Before I had my treo and could stream on the device.. But as for EDGE might be a little too slow unless you can find an app to stream at 32kbps or so.

Default XM Radio Mobile

I ran across this link for XM Radio for certain Blackberries- not sure how new it is---http://www.xmradio.com/mobile/whatisxm.xmc

It seems to require a separate XM account and fee, not worth it for me, but thought some of you that had not seen it might like to know it is out there.

I used the XM trial. My battery wore out rather quickly. Stream loaded quickly but shut down every 10 mins

Default Any updates?

This thread came up in a search. I have the 8820 and am curious about streaming music at the gym (if possible and decent quality). Has anyone found anything that streams well enough to use at the gym? I figure I will have to put music on a Micro SD and play from there... thoughts?

BerryTunes might work for you. If they have WiFi at the gym then even better.

You mean m.moodio.fm (not .com)...

I have used and been using moodio.fm and it works pretty well whenever there is good signal strength.
