Ok guys, start the test runs!

I see that the build is the .284 - does that mean it is the same as the Bhqarti .284?

Someone check it out and see what new goodies, if any, are in this one.

That's the same version T-Mobile may be going with on their 8700s.

Is this an update that I should install if I use Rogers, what if any are the differences?

I installed it, I assume that most of the changes are behind the scenes as I can see nothing new from using it?

Here's some minor changes that I noticed:
  • when you open the calendar, tasks, memo pad and various other features' menus, "HELP" appears at the top
  • when composing an SMS, the character counter is centered as opposed to Rightly justified
  • in the MESSAGES menu, they finally got rid of that "RECONCILE NOW" option that never did anything other than show arrows of connectivity

That's all I noticed for now

If your BB has no more reconcile now option on the MESSAGES menu now, you have a big problem...it has to be there. It is on mine; check your settings in the mail options t make sure that you are setup for wireless e-mail. And, the option DOES work as it should.
