Default I can change the APN, it`s blackberry.com

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

I have a BB z10, I bought it out of contract, means full unlock, but I can`t change the APN. It`s not grey, but it stays blackberry.com and I can`t erase it, or change anything. I don`t know what`s wrong with it. I contacted my carrier,I even visited their offices but they said it`s something wrong with the phone.

What should I do /

Take the SIM out and see if you can edit the APN setting.

I'm not up to speed on this, but my understand is on BB10 the APN can be set by the carrier, or some carriers set it an others do not....As I say I'm not up to speed on the details. But there are several long threads on the topic at the BlackBerry support site.

If you can edit the APN with the SIM removed, then I think that demonstrates that the SIM is controlling the APN setting.

new phone? used phone? did you unlock it?

I'm betting the carrier has locked the SIM and thats what controls the APN setting.
Try another SIM if you can from another carrier
