Have upgraded many times from the original .092 to 247 before i gave 5.0 a go. After downgrading I had lost the original ringtones.

I have done numerous wipes using jl_cmdr and reinstalls of OS and DM on the PC all to no avail.

There seems to be some threads on the web about an issue where the ringtones sit in the system folder on the BB which was changed in early releases of OS ?

Currently I have some of the tones installed on the media card but thats a real pain.

Any new ideas as to how I can get them back to there original location !

They are all in one file has media in the name, you can just load them back on the device using javaloader. Sorry the name of the file escapes me now. You the file is in your java directory on you desktop.

It was the following two files which contain the ringtones, I did use the java loader

net_rim_bb_medialoader_sonic_networks_high.cod
net_rim_bb_medialoader_sonic_networks_high2.cod
