Default 507 Restart error; OS reinstall fails

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

my story begins with installing GPSLogger and later upgrading the OS to 5.0.0.93. When I tried to get a GPS connection by reloading the GPS in the options menu and at the same time starting GPSLogger (or starting to record the path), my device crashed. Since then it couldn't boot until the end. My BBB always restarted after 50% of the loaded bar.

So I tried to reinstall the OS via DM but the installation failed because it didn't recognize the bb. I tried the installation with loader /nojvm but there was an error during the installation of the modules. The device restarted. As far as I remember it began now to reboot after a with a white screen and a "reload software: 507" error.
I tried to wipe the device with the BES (luckily, i back up my phone just a day before so I would not lose anything important) but i failed because there is not enough time to connect until the bold restarts again. Nuking don't work either.
After trying some methods the situation now is that apploader erases the apps, loads the system software the waits for the device initialization. When the device shows the white screen the loading bar(of the apploader) starts to move. The device restarts again after the 507 screen. The loader starts to reconnect to jvm seconds later. When the phone shows the loading white screen, the apploader begins to install the modules but after the first one it stops with the error: Unspecified error encountered [J:0x00000005].
I already tried everything with jl_cmder and the installation without the battery but the latter always fails because it shows a battery symbol no matter when I insert it again, so reconnecting to the jvm doesn't work.
I have no warranty because I purchased a used bb. That's why I appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance!

Wipe using javaloader then try installing the OS. Detailed instructions are on bbf faq section.

You just need to follow the tutorial on BB 101 - "How to reload the OS of a nuked BB"

What OS are you trying to install on your device?

What if you uncheck a lot of the applications, such as BB Messenger, BB Maps, etc? Stuff that you can always add back in later.

to fix it, i loaded the software using the apploader in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader\ apploader.exe

it fixed my problem. maybe it will help you.
