What leads me to the almost 100% certainty that it is fake: "The Curve Has Been Waiting For You" bla bla is NOT of Verizon and its marketing companies quality levels in terms of a print add rollout.

"We've gotten the inside track on a few dates on Verizon's radar for the next few months, and it looks like the boys and girls in red are prepping an interesting mix of exclusive and Sprint catch-ups to keep customers fat and happy. As handsets go, the Motorola Q9c is planned for April along with the TouchFLO-powered XV6900, LG enV2, and the CDMA rendition of the BlackBerry Curve" this is what engadgetmobile is reporting......

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)
Verizon caught me off guard this morning with the announced of the BlackBerry Curve 8330. This new Curve will be RIM's smallest and lightest BlackBerry smartphone yet. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphones jack and external microSD memory card slot. For now Verizon's Curve will only be available in liquid silver with chrome finish (as seen here).
The Curve will be available in May for $269.99 after rebates on two year contract. Click over for the full press release.

If you have an existing 2 year contract, what can you do?
Can you purchase it at contract price and contract duration starts over?
