Default tether to a mac?

hi all
i know people have successfully tethered their 7100t/7290 to their pc with the usb cable-my question is, how do you do it with the mac?
it shows up as a network port, but what script do i need? how do i set it up?
PS-anyone know how to enable netmonitor style mode on the bb? i depend on this on my 6230b

You must use a third party software such as pocketmac.

By tether, do you mean use it as a modem, or connect to it an sync your PIM data? You can not use a BlackBerry as a modem on a Mac at this time.

PocketMac works very nicely. I can only hope for bluetooth compatibility. :(

Bluetooth on a Blackberry is limited today to audio/wireless headsets and some new keyboards that just came out. If you are trying to sync or use the BT as a modem it will not work.

I'd like to also use my nextel 7100i as a modem so i can use my MAC and have internet acces on it. I cant find anything that tells how to link the bb and the mac. only pc to bb. someone got it working for the pc. when on the mac?

I left my BB usb cable at home, I'll attempt to Sync it up and connect tonight, tell you how it goes.

There is no bluetooth syncing on a mac. If anyone knows different please share.
