Default .85 issues?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey is anyone else having issues with .85? I'm having to do a lot of battery pulls because of freeze ups. Also when I try to save my home address in the Verizon Navi, it never rembers my information when I go back into it? Thanks for any info. Mike

With .85, I had days where I did not have to do a battery pull at all. Other days, I had to do multiple.

I upgraded to .86 this morning. So far, so good.

There is already a long thread about .85 for the Verizon 9530 going in the Beta section - http://www.blackberryforums.com/beta...-7-0-85-a.html

Pull the SIM card and your problems will go away. This works unless you are traveling (or live) in Europe. There is a thread on this on this site. Make sure you pull the battery first. 73

The Beta section is geared towards 9500 owners.

Honestly, I think Beta OS's should not be loaded into the 9530. In some cases the phone experiences serious issues that can't even be corrected with a factory wipe.

OS .75 has its issues, but the phone still functions adequately. If you own a 9530, do yourself a big favor - tough it out and wait for the next officially released OS upgrade.

This morning, the alarm did not beep, just lit up on the screen . I was in silent mode, but on .75 silent mode was just for alerts, ringers, etc...not the alarm. Any thoughts?

No, it isn't. It is for all beta discussions, in this case the 9530
