I upgraded the OS on my 8310 to 4.5 and I downloaded and installed desktop software 4.6.
When I start my application loader, it indicates that it wants to install OS 4.2 on my handheld. It will not let me uncheck Blackberry 4.2 system software and Blackberry 4.2 Core Applications.
I obviously want to keep OS 4.5 on the handheld unit.

Can you tell me why a reboot of my 8310 handheld results in re-sorting the order of all my applications?

Common problem with Today themes in OS 4.5. It seems to do that for some users (doesn't happen to me.) Try a different theme.
