KinTiki - Can you confirm that the new install actually removes the old version? Last time I installed a new version (2.63) it did not remove the old, just installed another version. I've already uninstalled the 2.63 and installed the 3.05 (and love it already!) so I can't check.
Thanks!

I can.
I installed it right over the old version and only the new one remains.

Thanks both of you for confirming that. I'm having a problem with using it though.....
I have my home address in as the Home address (street, city, state, no zip). I go into the address book to my mom's address, click wheel, click on Berry 411, click Get Driving Directions, and select her home address. The address is full address with street, city, state, and zip. However, it comes with a Google page and says it 'could not understand the location'.
I have tried a couple of other addresses and get the same thing. Mom lives about 90 miles away. I even tried it with a neighbor and it got the same error.
Any ideas?

I only noticed that now but only with very far distances, for example i just did one from NJ to MI, and it gave me that error, other than that it seems to be working for all the others.

Ok, this might seem like a really blonde question, but if I go into my Address Book, select a contact, click Berry 411....why in the world would I want to do a reverse lookup on a phone number? If I already have it stored in my Address Book I already know who's number it is.... What am I missing?

Someone called you and you know who it is but that person did not call from a regular phone number, would it not be nice to know where they were? *Wink*

But.....if someone calls me and I already have their name in my address book, I'll get their caller ID name.
What I'm trying to figure out is why the 'Do Reverse Phone Lookup' function is available from my Address Book. If I have the person already in my Address Book, I know who they are and where the number is from.....

I agree. I couldn't understand it, either.
The only possibility I could imagine would be if I entered a phone number as a way to contact someone and I wanted to check to see if that phone number really was listed in that person's name or someone else's name. But that seems pretty far-fetched.

We want reverse phone look up from the call logs. This is for numbers that call you who are not in your addy book.
The phone book request has to do with directions.

Exactly. Surely everyone receives phone calls from numbers that aren't in their address book already. You use reverse lookup to find out to whom or to what business the number belongs.
Of course, with mobile phones as prominent as they are now, I rarely am able to get an answer from reverse lookup. It's either private or a cell number, which aren't searchable.

i love this program.
(i am switching to 8700t/c soon) haven't decided yet which is better for me.

I just needed a street address for someone in my contact file. When I looked up the name, I found I had the phone number, but not the address.
Reverse phone lookup from Berry 411, and I was in business.
Al least for this purpose, that feature was very helpful.

Hey there - just happily discovered Berry 411. Can't seem to get the driving directions to work :(
I have entered my home and work . . . that seems fine. When I am in address book, select Berry 411, driving directions . . .
each time I get "We could not understand the location" if the address has both a home and work option (which most of my contacts do)
The address reads "Home: 123 Main Street . . . " or "Work: 235 Pine Street . . "
Any advice how to get rid of the "home" or "work" words appearing as part of address?
