No I don't mean just one number up. And I'm so sure is because I know someone who has it, not gonna mention names.

Frustrating, but tantalizing - always the way with these. I do a bit of searching in the morning and evening, but it seems that these are pretty well controlled lately, and aren't as readily available as betas seemed to be a year ago (at least for the 8300). I'm running .152, and it's been remarkably stable for me so far for the most part. I *do* notice that UMA switching sometimes doesn't work as smoothly as I'd like, although that's the exception. Curious to see newer versions, but in general, I'm finding .152 pretty solid considering that the device is relatively new to market. (no doubt, though, that I'd be downloading the next beta if I could find it!)

Well...truth to tell...I am too. I've searched pretty relentlessly, and find nothing beyond .152. Not having any particular problems with .152, but I'm always up for an upgrade. Would love to be able to find these!

Thank you very much for the direct answer. Now we know and can just wait for somebody to do the unmentionable and leak it. Seems all the attention on new OS's are on the Storm.

Not all on the Storm, Javelin has work going for them also. Just wait.

.174 is only released for beta testing, other leaks at this moment can not be...

I see, cause I read somewhere that 174 camera not good compared with previous version, anyway some said GPS is quick, but what make me wonder what is difference with 184 ??

What I think is good is 163, since 163 BBMaps is better when navigating..

You really don't need to uninstall the old version. You can, and usually I wait until the newer version is up, running and certain that I won't be downgrading.

Thanks -- the whole process is so fast with the 8900 -- it wouldn't be too bad if I had to reinstall .152...

But it looks like I won't -- 168 installed SO fast. I had to set up parameters for BBWeather and Viigo again, but everything is running fine now, and it appears that I have more free memory than I did with 152. I had gotten used to seeing about 117MB available with 152, and now I'm seeing about 131MB free. I'll see how this holds up over a couple of days of us.

Thanks again!

Installed and working smooth. Got a memory bump from 160MB to 165MB after the install.

If you're installing the OS from the official released carrier, why don't we post in that thread?

This OS is no longer a beta.
