Post One user isn't receiving company emails, please help

Please Login to Remove!

Exchange Server 2007
08.01.0291.001

The Exchange server is running a virtual machine which runs:
BES for MS Exchange
4.1.5 (Bundle 79)

Everything has been fine for months, about 12 users.
Yesterday, one user complained about missing emails.

Through some troubleshooting, it seems that email sent to his address from a domain outside the company appears instantly. But emails sent from within the domain never show up, or if they do, a day late, if at all.

Have messed around with all the Email settings on the BB, I've even wiped the device and resynchronized; still the same thing.

Anyone have any ideas?

(rebooted both servers)

I would assume it was something the user changed in exchange. What changes, if any, did they make in the last few days.

You mean a change on the Exchange server? The user does not have access to the server itself. Or if you mean the user's Outlook, he did not mention anything. Though I'm not sure how a change in Outlook would affect his BB getting email. I mean, if Outlook is closed down, the problem is still there.

Sorry if I'm not understanding. But no changes were made to the server. Very low upkeep.

Nothing was changed on the mail server for the users account? No rules or filters? That is the only thing i can think of for one user to have this issue. And to be fair, I am just trying to help until a much more knowledgeable BES admin comes along

Have you tried deleting the user from BES and adding them again? Check if they setup any kind of filter on DM or if they messed around with the settings on DM.

Nothing was changed on the server end. No filters or anything like that. And I don't even think the user has Desktop Manager installed on his laptop, but I'll double check.

Anything I should know about deleting/recreating a user? Will it break any type of mailbox associations or anything? Have never done this before.

Once you delete the user and readd them to the BES, You should wipe the handheld. Then run EA on the BB.

It works the same way as adding a new user. EA will sync their settings according to your BES config. I have had an user who's BB would remove the Reply option once he cconnected his BB to DM. I tried deleting the user and adding them several times, wiping the HH clean, but nothing seemed to work. It would work fine after EA, but as soon as he connected it to DM it would remove the Reply option.
