Default 9810 : long boot time ? like 15 min

Please Login to Remove!

When the device was new, the boot time was about 90 seconds. During the last 2 weeks, I had to boot the device twice and noticed that it takes more than 15 min to boot.

Anyone notice similar issues ? Or know a solution ?

How many 3rd party apps do you have loaded?

Do you have "memory cleaning" enabled? If so, try disabling.

I realize this isn't the same model, but seemed relevant >> http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ed-9930-a.html

Disabled the memory cleaning.. Will check again in few days and see if that resolves the issue.

Mine only takes 2-3 minutes but I don't have that many apps to load.

Mine easily takes that long. Its a bit annoying. It definetly got worse the more 3rd party apps I installed.

Mine seems to be haphazard but what really helped me was the update to Appworld 3.1. I hate the interface so I kept with Appword 2 for a bit, saw another member with the same situation.

Also I find that older apps like Google Maps made my phone ran really sticky and slow, so I removed that. Will only be installing updated apps, most likely that will run well on OS7..
