It is saved as an icon in your Downloads directory. You can either run it from there or hover over it, press the blackberry button and move it where you want it to be.

If for some reason you can't get the app directly from the store try http://www.blackberry.com/facebook from your blackberry browser.

Do you have a BB data plan? I assume you do since you got to App World, but wanted to make sure.

Also, is this a business device, connected to BES? If so, the company IT Policy might be the cause.

And which BB do you have? You posted in the 8900 section, but your profile says you have a Storm (95xx). Please lets us know and correct your profile.

Facebook requries a BLACKBERRY data plan to work.
It will not work through wi-fi, without the BLackberry data plan.

Do you have it?

The error message you're receiving answered the question already. You don't have a blackberry plan. You won't be able to get access over wifi. Contact your carrier and get a BlackBerry plan. It would work afterwards.

Agreed. And before you ask, there is no hack or any way around needing the data plan. It will never work on wifi unless you have the plan

All carriers charge extra for a BLACKBERRY data plan.
T-mobile £5
O2 (was) £10 on lower price plans
I believe Orange is also £5, same with virgin.

You don't need an Internet plan, you need a BlackBerry plan. It should be listed as AT BIS under your account summary in Vodafone's online billing. If you get paper statements should be there too.

Did you ever use the CHANGE DEVICE option in BIS to enter your new blackberry's PIN?

Was it the same sim you moved from the storm to the curve? Most likely you received the first storm with a blackberry plan from Voda. Did you change sim, phone or plan before going to the Çurve?

Now I get it. You had a storm on Voda, you got rid of it, you kept the plan and now you use a curve over wifi because it's locked to O2.

When you unlock it if you still have the blackberry plan active on your account from the retired storm it would work just fine with Facebook.
