status light on top right corner of phone staying on after text messages recieved, will blink until i read it just like normal, but once i read the message it stays steady red. if i turn the status light on to flash with signal then it does what its supposed to do, flash green, but the minute i turn it off, it stays solid green until i turn the phone off. i do not have buzzberry or any other app that would mess with that light...any ideas?

Have you tried a hard reset? (With the power on, pull the battery for 30 or so seconds.)

i have the same problem, i did do a battery pull and that did work but it happens every time i get a message and it only started when i undated my OS to 4.5....so im not sure how to fix it, any ideas?

thank you John, i had the time to actually read other posts and i was reading this one and it just happen to have in it how to fix this problem, thank you so much it was starting to make me a little nuts having that light on all the time...
