my friend got charged for usage of accessing websites without a BB data plan and she has AT&T.

you may see some charges for megabyte usage on your next bill. i'd double check with T-Mobile

You will get charged per kilobyte of data transferred on you next bill.
Be careful about how much you use the internet without a data plan.
The per-kb charges can add up quickly.

That's weird, because I have Verizon and they don't even allow you to have a blackberry without some form of a data plan.

I'm having the same experience. I called T Mobile a few minutes ago because I was afraid my phone bill would be a billion dollars. The representative said that I shouldn't have access to the internet (even though I have Tzones). She said that "once the computers catch up" my internet is going to go away.
