This program is a bit quirky and takes just a bit of getting used to, but it is FANTASTIC! It's saved my @ss a couple of times already. Very accurate and very well presented. The only thing I would change is making the "add to contacts" feature a bit more robust -- right now it adds the number and allows you to add text -- I'd like to be able to copy/paste a bit more easily (can't move back and forth between the contact and the web).

Downloaded this a couple of days ago and I love it. The only frustrating part is realizing that you need to change the address to yours. At first I was getting all these addresses in Seattle and I am in Detroit. Once I made the change it worked better than making the phone call, literally.

Does this work in Canada?
I have tried it and it doesn't seem to work.

Supposedly, a Canadian-capable version was made.
I observed in this original RIMROAD thread that some Canadian user got it working, I think. You'll have to dig through maybe the 2nd or 3rd page of this thread (I think)

hey Mark,
I tried your name in ottawa on. and searched the white pages and it worked
I only typed in your last name, city, province and it found a george rejhon on besserer st.
so it seems to work on the white pages. :D

Yea, it was mentioned that white pages work, but yellow pages do not on this 411 app for canadian users.

Can't make 411 work with multiple word cities
I have installed 411 and the White Pages seem to not work with my home town "North Little Rock, AR".
I started out using just the zip code but it told me to enter a city and state too.
All I get back is:
Dex: Lastname in Rock, AR
Any ideas?
BTW: yellow pages work just fine.

North Little Rock
I fixed a bug that prevented three word city names from working. However, Dex does not know about "North Little Rock", it only knows "N Little Rock". Try changing your location to "N Little Rock, AR", that works.

Yup, I just loaded it.. Very cool app and it seems pretty straightforward to me. I just put in street address and zip code and it does the rest

Thanks. That worked. I guess that's my fault in living in such a long named city.
Thanks again.

You don't need to put the city in there, I put just the street addy and the zip code.. Like:
123 Elm Street, 55106
55106 = Saint Paul Minnesota...
It will figure it out from the zip code.
Maybe easier than typing the long city name?

It is a Yellow page and white page for the blackberry. Basically it keeps you from having to make the $1.49 calls to your carriers 411. I have probably saved $15.00 in the first month while using this software.
Thank you to the programmer that thought this one up.
