Angry Keep Hotspot on

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone have any insight on how to keep the hotspot on at all times?

There is an option in the MOBILE HOTSPOT OPTIONS menu to adjust the AUTO SHUT OFF TIMER and I set it to NEVER and save the option, however everytime I power cycle my phone it goes back to the defualt setting of 5 min.

This may not be a problem for most people but due to the development work I am doing its quite annoying.

Settings *should* be saved, even after a reboot. Having said that, I can confirm that a lot of features that should work simply do not. Yet. This looks like one of those "should work/doesn't work" situations. You may have to wait for the 10.2 update. Hopefully a lot of these annoyances will be sorted with the update.

Sorry, I thought it would be clear by the info at left. I don't have a BB10 device. I have a BlackBerry 9370.

Sorry. You were perfectly clear. I was posting without really reading in what category you had posted, and like a noob I didn't even check your profile.

If BB7 is losing a setting like keeping the Hotspot engaged it's either a long standing issue that nobody else has complained about, or there is an issue with your particular BlackBerry. I would suggest upgrading or downgrading the os to another version. Beyond that I'm afraid I have little to offer.
