Default Switching Carriers & Support

Our company has been with Rogers and have had excellent service from them with issues relating to not only devices but the BES as well.
We may be changing to Telus, and I'm wondering about what kind of service/support they provide compared to Rogers.
I'm very happy with the service we've had in the past, but we may not have a choice in the move. If I can show a drop in expected support from Telus, that may give me the ammunition to not switch.

BES support should go directly to RIM. If you don't havew it already, get T-Support. Not cheap, but it can save your bacon.

If you move to Telus and want to stay with GSM devices, be aware that the 3G coverage is not complete.

We have had excellent BES support from Rogers, and yes they've saved my bacon a couple times - that's why I'm very happy with them. Telus is offering us something called Premium Corporate Support which is supposedly Tier 3 support right off the bat.

Part of the deal is that we'd trade-in or replace all of our existing BB's that aren't 3G already (which is most of them). Bold 9700 is what our new device standard would be.

We require good coverage in the 4 Atlantic provinces where we have plants now, but we also need coverage in Western Europe, Cuba, and the rest of the Caribbean. Of all those, Cuba is where I see that Telus does not have data coverage and this would be an issue.
