That's the same thing that was reported a while ago and RIM has already issued a patch.

Anyway, apparently that would affect the PC, not the device.

If a BlackBerry smartphone user on BlackBerry Unite! opens and views the specially crafted PDF file attachment on the BlackBerry smartphone; the arbitrary code execution could compromise the computer."

Chase's mobile option is a joke. All they offer is a series of commands that you text to their address and it will send back activity, balances, etc. Not worth it.

They are a large bank and should be one of the leaders in mobile offerings, either via a mobile site or a standalone app.

While my back has a .mobi site, I prefer to use their online site through Opera Mini. I probably pay 90% of my bills in that manner.

I bank with USAA with no problems at all. They do have a bb app you can download but I just get to it through my browser.

If you are looking for an app that will help you, say balance your check book, I saw Handango had an app that can do that you can buy. I personaly wouldn't feel safe with that though.

Remember, some sites direct you to the version of the site based on how your browser identifies itself. If you have IE emulation enabled you'll get the "full" (PC) version. You need to have Blackberry emulation enabled to get to the mobile version. This applies to the Chase web site.

Though http://chase.mobi will also get you there -- regardless of your emulation setting in this case.
