I'm trying to find info on what exactly BES backup's over wireless.

I have a user that has "accidently" deleted all prior messages and would like them recovered.

I redid the EA and it only restored the past 5 days worth of emails. I cannot find where on the BES Server to say backup/restore ALL, and this should include emails and sms. Is there an ability to do this.

Also, if I delete the user from the BES Express, does it also delete whatever backups BES had done for that user?

I did the EA first before removing the mailbox, then removed the mailbox. The backup only restored a few hours worth, where when I deleted the user from BES and re-added, it restored up to 5 days worth.

I remember on a BES Server (the real one), we can specify how much is synced on an activation, I think the default was 6 hours, but BES Express doesn't seem to have that ability or at least, I haven't been able to find it.

Do this on the assumption that the user is lazy and wants I.T. to be repsonsible for all on his or her device, regardless of any "accidents".

Never delete a user, it is not needed for 99% of issues and the users backup will be gone in seconds.

once delete prior is done, it is gone. That is not part of the backup.
