Default How to Fix Small Scratches?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm waiting for my cases but in the meantime I have what appears to be small scratches on my screen. Is there any way to remove them?

I was thinking of trying a small amount of cleaner wax (used on cars). Has anyone tried that or found something that works better??

Agree-I highly recommend Displex for scratch removal...try searching of Froogle for the best price-seems to vary widely depending on where you look for it.

Anyone know of any product to help touch up scratches on the chrome/silver lining?

I would try nail polish in silver or chrome color and use a tooth pic or very small brush to apply it to your 8100 I think even a small layer of clear coat sprayed on just right over the side pieces would do a world of good.. But you have to really good with an air brush! why not even customize your pearl with different colors!

Bump.

So with the 8700's, if you polish beyond the clear portion of the LCD cover, there were people that ended up removing the black portion as well (because its just some cheap spray on coating on an entirely clear plastic housing). Anyone have insight into this before I start polishing away w/ some plastic polish (I have some that I used on the headlights on my car, that worked wonders)?
