I left the Blackberry bandwagon because of no memory card. I used a Treo (ugh!) for almost 2 years, putting up with instability and unreliability because I simply had to have more storage than the measely 16 MB (shared!) I had on my older 'Berry. While in Treo-land I got addicted to having a camera. No, it wasn't a good camera, but the convenience of being able to snap a pic and email it right away became somethng I relied on. Not a must-have business feature but a very slick consumer feature. Go Pearl!

Finally got mine!

I was waiting outside the door when my local Cingular store opened on Saturday December 2. They only had 3 in stock. When I left they only had 2!

Had to pay full retail price, which was a killer, but the phone is sweet!
Suretype is a little slower than my 7130, and the op system even seems a little slower. See the hourglass alot more!

Cant's wait for the 8800 now! QWERTY here I come!
Someone else said it, but the pearl is a great weekend phone. Snap some pics, listen to some music.
Keeping my 7130 for work for now though!
