i have renewed my interest in the whole streaming radio thing.

I gave up on RadioBee's latest release. Use an earlier release if you like RadioBee

I like MFRadio's User Interface, but it lacks setting configuration
I just started using MWebPlayer and its working pretty good.
(i'm running a buffer of 40, almost MP3 quality,
except for the few second hiccup)
Plenty of settings to adjust
MWebPlayer also has some connection to live365 if you purchase software


NOTES : with radiobee you do not use the http:// with the other two you do
radiobee does not allow you to add stations, you have to edit existing ones
MWebPlayer doesn't seem to save the stations i make
(if you purchase the full version you can save stations)
I'm a freebie kind of guy...

Easy work around for this.
open your notepad. make a note titled radio stations. add the urls there.
copy and past from there to the app. takes about two seconds to do

Yup, perfectly legal. Although many states have laws against having scanners in your car for fear people will ambulance chase and such. Not sure how a blackberry streaming a live radiocast of a scanner would apply. Probably only an issue if you're in that area lol.

wouldnt that be quite funny if you just so happened to be either in anchorage or witchita and you did get pulled over...and you heard the report of yourself getting pulled over.

I would leave the app running, so when the officer spoke into his walkie, he would hear it in my car as well a few seconds later.

That would be really weird....

BTW i have no plans on going to Kansas or Alaska...
If anyone runs into this situation, let us all know how it goes. LOL

in web player i get error open tunnel failure
in mf i get failure to connect
and radiobee says ckass java ioe exception open tunnel failure


any ideas?
