My daughter loves her playbook (and me!), she plays music out if the speakers all the time, and to be honest the speakers are really good for this type of device.

But is there any speaker docks available? Would be great to have one that charges to. I'm in UK btw.

Or does the rapid charger dock have a speaker/connection out to connect to some do speaker's ?
If not what do people use?

You'll probably have to plug it into a set of external speakers via the 3.5mm jack.

Was hoping for an official dock as per the millions of iPod ones. Or even a dock for charging then plugging some speakers into the dock so It's semi-permanent

I haven't seen a speaker dock but a lot of folks use bluetooth speakers.

Best bet IMHO, is the Rocketfish bluetooth headphones or similar (for UK).

I use a rapid charge dock and use a BlackBerry Stereo Gateway connected to a set of computer speakers or to my stereo.

never heard of the gateway thing, what a good idea, after searching I ordered a Bluetooth speaker, a Creative D80 (any good?), but I'm thinking of the gateway now...

I have used the BB gateway for over 3 years now. It works great.

I have used it in my garage, truck, car, home stereo and even on my buddies boat.

A bluetooth speaker might be fine, but this gateway works with almost any phone/tablet/PC and works with almost every powered speaker out there.

I like it cause it works solid and have not looked at anything else since.
