I got that same text, so now I'm not sure what the heck happened. Anyway, PC seems fine, phone is operating ok again, now I'm jst reloading all my apps.

Any Berrybuzz doesn't have an option to let me know when it's charged anymore, and aerize optimizer can't be found. WTF?

The quote cleverly said "A peep show"
Rod Stewart's "If you want my body, and you think I'm sexy" played upon opening the text

Starting sometime this morning, every time I got an email notification, I would get the standard notification: BB_Pro_Sanguine, followed immediately by Rod Stewart.

I changed the notification, and it every email notification ping was followed by Rod Stewart.

I looked all through the phone, all through the desktop manager, and the song was nowhere to be found.

I had previously installed the leaked .591, but I installed some additional updates from Verizon and that seemed to fix it.

It was extremely annoying, but it's gone now.

Anyone heard of anything else like that?
I believe we may have uncovered the first true bug in .591.

I have two Tour users, plus me who have experienced receiving an MMS with sound, at which point the sound plays each time another audible alert. I am trying to reliably recreate the condition before I report it to VZW and RIM.

OK, I was obviously mistaken about having a virus on my phone. What I think happened is I got a virus on the work PC when I downloaded the OS from the hotfile link. The phone issue began when I received the above referenced "peeps" message. I wrongly jumped to the conclusion that the same bug that got the PC got the Tour.

And berrybuzz works fine, assuming I download the latest version. Duh.

Thanks to everyone who offered advice and help.

I'm glad you got it sorted out. Thanks for letting us know. I hope your work PC is properly disinfected or re-imaged.

I wish I had taken a screen shot, but as soon as my phone became possessed by "If you want my body, and you think I'm sexy" I deleted it.

Unhappy Rod Stewart Possessing My Blackberry Tour!

Last night I updated my blackberry tour. Today my sister sent me an Easter MMS with music... it had the Rod Stewart song attached to it.

Now, every time I hang up with someone that song plays.
It plays when I get emails.
It plays when I get text messages.
It plays constantly!

I put my phone on Vibrate only... it still plays!

This is very embarrassing for me. I'm a full time college student and we are not to have our phones ringing in class.

I anticipate being in class on Monday and having my phone play this song over and over again. It would not be so bad if I wasn't so easily embarrassed by such things but I am.

Especially this song "If you want my body and you think I'm sexy, come on sugar let me know!"

Great! That's just what I need my classmates to think about me!!!!!!

HELP!

Believe it or not, a simple battery pull worked for a buddy of mine to make it stop.
