I've been using vLingo for awhile and like it a lot. Is there any way to turn off the "composed by..." tag line it adds to the bottom of a message?

Go to the options command within Lingo, and turn off the "tag line". I love this application.

Hi,

I am thinking about picking up the 8900 to replace my G1. Is there a notepad type app, where it sends you reminders to do certain tasks?

Default get doubleTwist (http://www.doubleTwist.com) if you have a Mac - PC on the way

doubleTwist just released their public beta for the Mac. I love to sync my iTunes library and my other stuff with my Blackberry - best of all worlds. The PC version is coming in March, I think.

does anyone else have complaints on where the USB port is located..? I use my phone a helluva lot while its plugged in..and this is going to take some getting used to...why on earth would anyone put a charging jack to the right or left of the keyboard? Almost makes it impossible to hold with two hands and type..or even just your right hand...and my left hand is retarded...so crap.
How did you get Garmin to work on your 8900? It keeps telling me that my device isnt supported.

EDIT: WAP'ed the Garmin link and it worked fine.

I couldn't get the bluetooth to work vlingo neither. It started to freeze on me so i deleted it. On there sit you cant pick the 8900 yet i think there are some bugs in it if you download it off your BB browser. I'm going to wait till they have worked on it and have the 8900 as a option to download.

And it really took me some getting use to the USB post being there it is. I really liked where it was on the 8100 top left not in the way at all. Who ever thought of putting it where it is must have been left handed.

And the apps i like the most are iheartradio, berrybuzz and smrtguard

Thanks
I recommend all the cool apps and highly discourage you from anything that sucks.
Shiny, btw. Before someone goes D-bag on you and recommends a spell checker or some such nonsense.

For me, my must-haves are:
1. Facebook
2. Barnes and Noble e-book reader
3. Time Magazine reader
4. Google Maps
5. Wordpress
6. Google Voice
7. BBScanner
8. Poynt
9. Numbercop USA (Blocks telemarketers)
10. Phonelog
11. Berryweather
12. Ubertwitter

And then I'm good. I have other things that I use from time to time, but that's my base install.

My personal choice:

Must have
1) shortcutme
2) a twitter app (wanted to try twittercaster but having problems)
3) viigo
4) Berry Weather

in that order
