Heathric, I haven't installed this yet. but the same issue happened to me and I am running .592 on my 8900.

My wife sent me an mp3 that was like 90kb, was a funny ringtone. All I did was play it. Never saved it. And everytime after a call, the message would play. I eventually downloaded the ringtone and deleted the MMS message then it stopped. I sent it to a friend as MMS, never saw the problem again, but was weird. Never tried rebooting (my phone is a business number), I try to leave rebooting until late night

I was having the same issue with the last few betas. I'm not sure when Shazam came out with version 2.5.2, but I upgraded today and now it's working (my device had 2.5.1 installed). It looks like App World is still showing 2.5.1, so you'll probably have to go to Shazam's site to download it directly for the time being.

Try 5.0.0.130 It lasted me for like a week. Of course, no applications will work, but... ;)

I've been running .610 for several days, and I don't see any obvious differences from .592. App World disappeared when I upgraded, but that has happened virtually every time I've upgraded, so nothing new there. Battery life is good, and free memory hasn't changed.

I got rid of 5.0.0.610.

I was sick of it always going in EDGE mode, and it locked up all the time.

Also, dialing from homescreen always defaulted to the work phone number instead of the mobile number. Very annoying.

I wish they would go back to the original keylock sequence. I always end up pushing the mute button while putting the phone in my pocket, which deactivates the keylock and ultimately calls everyone. I'd rather have to push star+talk like before. Anyone know of a way to fix this on the more recent versions?

lock ups were a problem for me, the only fix for the keylock is to set a password

I'm a QA guy, so I understand all about tradeoffs. At least it'll pass the battery life test!

I spent a day on 2G and after that the battery usage is better. Go figure.

On this OS, MEPD doesn't display SIM status anymore.

Example:
Go to Options > Advanced Options > SIM CARD > Type in MEPD to bring up SIM Status.

I'm finding pressing letter "A" locks the keyboard without a device password being set...
