Hi,

We recently upgraded 2 out of 8 BES servers from 3.6 SP2 to SP4. People on both of these servers are unable to open attachements now. The others seem to be fine. Anybody has an idea?

Our situation: We're running exchange 2000 on windows 2000 boxes. BES version 3.6. Different types of handhelds (eg 7730)

Did you enable MDS for the user that's having problem?

Also try resending the service books maybe? This is just a guess though. Maybe the upgrade fouled up some of the service books on the upgrade.

In the mean time I upgraded one of the boxes to SP5 which seems to resolve the problem. I'll be upgrading the 2nd one in a couple of hours and hopefully the users will be happy then...
