So i have been trying to download themes on my 8700c (yes this is my first BB)
and i keep getting this message

"Sorry, themse are currently not available for your BlackBerry device. Theme downloads require colour BlackBerry devices running software version 4.1 or higher."
Now from what i can tell my BB is color sure maybe we dont have the u but close enough.
And i should be running that os correct.
Sorry if this has been asked but i have been searching and well i suck at life with a major in google.

I am getting the same message when trying to download blackberry messenger.

How about telling us which browser you're using? Which themes are you trying to download, the official RIM ones or ones that we (users) have made?

I am trying to download the offical rim ones.
the browser is the internet browser that comes loaded.
i have not loaded any software on this yet at all.
this is still out of the box.

OK i fixed it the cingular WAP browser was the default browser once i switched that i got it fixed.
