Through a little experimentation, I have found that the file size limit for the 7130e (using the Bell Canada firmware) is right around 500k.

Thought I would share since I searched and didn't find it....

All mp3's on my VZW 7130e only work for a few times. I hope the new firmware (when released) will fix this.

When you say they work for a "few times" do you mean after that you recieve calls but he phone doesnt ring?

i have this issue. is it related to the size of the file? When is the new firmware coming?

Thanks to info from Whsbuss, it should be out by the end of the month/or sometime next month. Now, noone knows what this firmware fixes. But a lot of us are hoping it will fix the mp3 issue, where they just stop playing.

The work around for this issue is to remove and replace the battery. I do this every other morning and my mp3 ringtones always work.
