To my knowledge, messages cannot be stored on a SIM card... But to view saved messages (on internal memory) go to messages>menu>view saved messages>

Text messages can be saved to a sim card. Although I don't know how to access them from a BB

Well in theory, just about anything can be stored on the card, but I believed the OP to be stating he had stored messages on the card via the BB, which I do not believe to be possible.

Messages can be stored on Sim with BB. Go to options > SMS> leave messages on Sim. Yes. My query refers to messages stored on Sim from another device

if you go into messages, hit the menu key, there will be an option (in the full menu) to "View Messages", in that list you will see a "SMS SIM Card Inbox". they will be listed there.
i never stored any SMS to my SIM, so i am not sure if you can retrieve them and put them into the phone's memory, if possible, it would be in the menu when the message is selected.

Thanks tried that but couldn't see messages. That's why I thought I was doing something wrong.

that's weird...
can you pop the SIM into another phone and forward your messages ? if you forward them to yourself you'll just get them on the alternate phone, which you don't want...but if your carrier has an online option to SMS any Vodacom subscriber, you could send them to your own number....

but if you're going to go thru all that trouble, y not just delete what you don't want anymore and jot down the info you need from those messages into a notepad ?

if you have a spare that's not a bb, maybe that's your best bet....
